Shelly Plus Add-on

The Shelly Plus Add-on is a galvanically isolated sensor interface that expands the input/output capabilities of compatible Shelly Plus, Gen3, and Gen4 devices, enabling complex home automation scenarios through the integration of various external sensors.

Key Features:

• Sensor Connectivity: Provides dedicated wired interfaces (digital inputs/outputs, analog input, temperature/humidity inputs) for connecting a wide range of external sensors.
• Temperature & Humidity Monitoring: Supports the connection of up to five DS18B20 temperature sensors or one DHT22 temperature and humidity sensor simultaneously.
• External Switch/Button Input: Includes an input terminal to connect traditional wall switches or momentary buttons, enabling physical control of the host Shelly Plus device or associated automations.
• Analog Input (ADC): Features an Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) input for reading values from analog sensors (e.g., light levels, soil moisture) and using that data in automations.
• Digital Input/Output: Offers both digital input and output capabilities for connecting various digital sensors or controlling external low-power loads up to 100mA.
• Galvanic Isolation: Provides galvanic isolation from the host device's power supply, ensuring safe operation and protecting the primary device from potential electrical interference.
• Automation Triggers: Data collected from the connected sensors can be used as triggers for complex local automations, mJS scripts, and scenes within the Shelly ecosystem.
